Nursery School

A child’s first experience of school sets the tone for years to come. Children just love to learn, and from the earliest age and they do so through their senses. They touch, feel and explore everything in their world. They love to live unrestricted. Our faith in the base principles of Montessori Education methodologies which we have imbibed into our school’s system, lays the groundwork (for our tiny tots) for the more rigorous learning experiences that will come later.

Our classroom strength is not beyond 30. We have highly experienced teachers and nannies deployed exclusively for the children. The student teacher ratio is 1:15 and the children remain with the same group of teachers to foster supportive and enduring teacher-student relationship.

Each child is shown how to use the age appropriate Montessori materials, and the self-correcting quality of the work chosen enables each child to participate as his/her own teacher. We also ensure that each child has guided repetition so as to help the child to focus and gain greater confidence in his/her abilities. Our years of experience has provided us ample proofs wherein we have seen every child gain a sense of independence gradually. The Pride in the child’s eyes that says “I can do it myself” is the main source of happiness and satisfaction for us as Teachers.

We have Music, Rhymes, animated songs, dance, bhajans, slokas as part of the class-work curriculum for the children. Self-eating of snacks, outdoor play, cleanliness, toilet-training, learning to share and being polite to each other are part of their daily routine.

Thus, beyond schoolwork, Chidvikas provides these children an environment where they learn to create loving and respectful bonds among themselves.
